Trans Siberia Express 1992

This page is a place holder for the travelogue of my (Arjan) journey in 1992 with the Trans Siberia Express. A journey by train with two friends from Hook of Holland in the Netherlands to Beijing, a distance of about 10489 kilometres (6500 miles). On the 7th of July we left by train from Hook of Holland and on the way we stayed a few days in Moscow, Irkutsk, Ulan Bator (Mongolia) and Beijing. In total it took us 17 days to reach Beijing of which we spent 8 days in a train. From Beijing we flew back to The Netherlands were we arrived on the 30th of July.
